FreshChat is a process for getting support if you run into technical or hardware-related issues while setting up an event or on the day of an event. This option should be used by EPs for event support as directed by their Regional Support Manager.

Event Partners should first review the RECFevents Help section in the REC Library to troubleshoot the issue.

FreshChat is only for technical support in running competitions using the RECF Competition Portal. Questions regarding other competition topics (judging, refereeing, awards, qualification etc.) should be directed to your Regional Support Manager.

Accessing FreshChat

The FreshChat tool can be accessed in the RECF Competition Portal. The FreshChat icon will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen. Select this icon to start a live chat with an RECF Support Staff personnel.

FreshChat Support Hours

For November 2025 - May 2026, FreshChat support will be available during these hours:

  • Friday: 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM (US Central Time)
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (US Central Time)

No FreshChat support will be provided on these days due to RECF Holidays:

  • November 28 - 29th, 2025
  • December 26 - 27th, 2025
