The RECF Competition Portal is a cloud-based web application integrated with RECFevents.org for running competitions. This article explains who can use the portal and how to access it.
Who Can Access the Competition Portal?
This application is intended to be used by authorized RECF Event Partners to run RECF competitions. Users that have accounts on RECFevents that have been enabled as an Event Partner by their Regional Support Manager (RSM) will be able to have access to the Competition Portal. This also will provide access to the Mock Event menu, which is used for training and to test electronics.
- Contact your RSM if you are interested in becoming an authorized RECF Event Partner. Your RSM will share next steps in this process and enable your RECFevents account to have access to the Competition Portal.
- We will also provide access to additional event staff, like Event Technology Coordinators, who will be assisting the Event Partners with running the competitions and need to be added as Event Administrators. Contact your RSM for more information.
Accessing the Competition Portal
Event Partners and their Event Administrators can access the Competition Portal for their event in their RECFevents.org account.
IMPORTANT:
This will open your real event and should only be accessed when you are ready to run your actual event. If you need to practice, train your volunteers or test your electronics, use the Mock Event feature instead.
Each device used at your event will need access to the Competition Portal. Refer to the Device Permissions article to learn how to set up your devices for your event and provide volunteer access (optional).
- Login to RECFevents.org
- Select My Account to access your Account Portal
- Select Events in the left-hand navigation menu.
- By default, the My Events filter will be applied and you will see the events that you are an Event Administrator.

Optional: If your event is a Scrimmage, ensure the Is Scrimmage box is checked.

- Select your event to open the event.

At the top-right corner of the screen, select the Open Competition Portal button.
