Register a Team for a Competition or Event

RECF Season Registration

Each team must pay an annual RECF season registration fee for the season before they will be able to register for competition events. If your team is not already registered, read the REC Library Article: Register an Aerial Drone Competition Team, for instructions.

Registering for an Event

Each team can register to participate in one or more events during the season. Details of each event are updated throughout the season on recfevents.org. Events include Workshops, Tournaments, Scrimmages, and Championship Events offering a variety of competition and learning opportunities for teams. 

Important Note: Teams are not officially registered for the event until the checkout process is completed and a payment method has been selected.

Finding Events

There are several ways to find and register for events.

Use the Map Search

  1. Go to RECFevents.org.

  2. Click on Resources on the top navigation bar, then select Map Search.

  3. Using the Filters, select your Program.
  4. Zoom into an area and select a red pin or blue number. This will open up the date and location of the event.

    1. Note: At this time, the date on this list view may be inaccurate (off by one day) and we are working to solve the problem. Please select Go to Event for the correct event date.

  5. Select Go To Event for additional details.

  6. Select Register.

  7. Using the drop down arrow, select the Team you wish to register and click Register.

  8. If you need to register additional teams, select Continue Registering.

  9. Otherwise, select Go to cart and checkout.

  10. Complete Billing Information and Select Payment Method

Important Note: Teams are not officially registered for the event until the checkout process is completed and a payment method has been selected.


Use the Events List

  1. Go to RECFevents.org.

  2. Click on Events on the top navigation bar, then select your program.

  3. On the Search bar, use the drop down arrow to open filters.

  4. Use filters to narrow your search. We recommend using State and/or Region to start and then use additional filters if needed. Select Appy Filter.

  5. Select View for more event details.
  6. Select Register to register your team for the event.

  7. Using the drop down arrow, select the Team you wish to register and click Register.

  8. If you need to register additional teams, select Continue Registering.

  9. Otherwise, select Go to cart and checkout.

  10. Complete Billing Information and Select Payment Method
