The Team Check-in process captures which teams are at the event on the event day, and is mandatory for all events because this function is tied to which teams are eligible for Alliance Selection. Also, only Checked-in Teams will appear in the Team Inspection list.
Accessing Team Check-in
When Teams arrive at the event, they will go directly to the designated Team Check-in area. The Team Check-in Volunteer will access the Team Check-in menu in the Competition Portal through the Dashboard or in the left-hand menu. Event Partners can assign specific device permissions to only allow access to the Team Check-in menu. More information can be found in the Device Permissions article.
Checking-in Teams
The Team Check-in screen defaults to a list of teams that are not checked into the event. Teams can be checked-in one at a time or all at once.

Checking in a single team:
- (Optional): Select the “i” icon to view the status of the teams submitted consent forms. The number of consent forms should be the same as the number of total team members. If the number of consent forms is less than the Total Team Members, ask the Coach if they have paper copies for the remaining team members, or see if they can send the digital link to the student’s legal guardian to have it completed. It may also be the case that not all of the team members are present at the event. Teams can still be checked-in even if the number of consent forms do not match the Total Team Members.
- Select the box next to the Team number for the team that is present at the event. This will automatically change the Team Checked-in status to Checked-in and the team will no longer be visible unless the Show Checked-in Teams box is checked.

Checking-in all teams:
- To check-in all teams at the event at the same time, select Check In All Teams. This will automatically change the Team Check-in status to Checked-in for all teams and they will no longer be visible unless the Show Checked-in Teams box is checked.
- To reverse this, select Check Out All Teams.
Check-out a Team
- In the case where a team is Checked-in in error and needs to be Checked-out, ensure the Show Checked-in Teams box is checked and deselect the team.
- That team will no longer appear in the Checked-in Team list. To view the unchecked-in teams, deselect the Show Checked In Teams box.
Team Check-in and Inspection Status
The Team Check-in and Inspection Status link will generate a downloadable PDF report that includes the status for each team.

Registered Team List
The Registered Team List link will generate a downloadable PDF report that includes a list of all of the Registered Teams for the event.
