Step 1: Log into RECFevents.org
New users
- Click "New to RECF Events"
- Enter your information and click "Register" (see important note above)

Tip: When entering your Date of Birth, select the YEAR first, then the month and day.

- Verify your email address
- Please check your Spam or Junk folder to verify your email, if you still do not see the verification email, please reach out to your RSM so we may manually verify your email address.
- Make sure to put in your proper name, birthdate, and other information, otherwise you may experience delays in the background check process.
Step 2 - Complete Background Check (if required)
If you are new to RECF and will be a primary coach, secondary coach, financial contact or event partner, then you will need to complete the background check.
- Click on Order Background Check.
- New background checks typically take 2 - 10 days to process.
If you have a completed background check for RECF Robotics Programs, you do not need to complete a new background check. We will transfer the information.
In the interest of student safety, the REC Foundation requires background checks for US-based
- Primary Coach
- Secondary Coach
- Event Partner
- Event Administrators
A Background check is not required in RECFevents if you are:
- Outside the US
- Financial Contact for a Team
- Organizational Contact for a Team
