Season Registration Fee
The annual Team Registration is a fee that each team is required to pay each competition season and includes:
- Eligibility to compete in official RECF Drone Competition events.
- Eligibility to qualify for official RECF Drone Competition Regional Championship events.
- Eligibility to post official World Ranking Skills scores to RECFevents.org. These scores are used to determine overall ranking and can qualify teams to Championship events.
This fee goes to the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF) and helps support the overall operation and sustainability of the program. It covers a wide range of essential services, including:
- Coach and Event Partner support and training
- Competition game design and rule development
- Scoring software and updates
- Judging rubric and volunteer training materials

Cost: $200 per team.
Most organizations have multiple teams.
Event Registration
This fee is paid to the host organization or school running the event. Consider hosting your own event as a fundraiser to help support your teams and engage your community! It helps offset the local costs of hosting a competition, such as:
- Venue rental
- Competition field and game elements
- Audio/Video equipment
- Trophies
- Volunteer lunches and hospitality

Typical Range: $50 - $100 per team per event (varies by region)
