The following policy was instituted beginning with the 2024-2025 competition season to ensure fair and equitable access to events for teams on event waitlists.
- Team swapping is not allowed within 2 weeks of an event.
- Team swapping is not allowed or possible for Regional Championships.
REC Foundation staff will have the ability to manually override this policy if a certain situation warrants an exception, but it would not be the expectation that teams would be allowed to swap if they are ineligible. Therefore, these exceptions would be rare.
