Some tournaments may request that you submit a digital copy of your competition logbook, regardless of whether it was natively created as a digital or paper logbook. Logbook are submitted through the team's RobotEvents.com logins by one of the team's registered contacts, and may be to either a native digital format or a scanned PDF copy of a paper logbook.
NOTE: When in RobotEvents, the Competition Logbook is referred to as a Digital Engineering Notebook. The process is the same to upload a Competition Logbook (for our drone programs) or a Digital Engineering Notebook (for our robotics programs).
For Team Contacts
Step 1: Go to RobotEvents.com, Login, and click on “My Account” in the upper right corner.
Step 2: On your dashboard, you will see all of the teams registered to your RobotEvents account this season, and on the right-hand side is a Digital Engineering Notebook link.
Step 3: Once you have selected a team, enter the full URL to the team’s competition logbook. Ensure sharing settings do not require login credentials to view.
If you enter a link that requires login credentials to view, you will get the error seen below. You must modify the sharing settings of your link to correct the error message.
Step 4: If your link goes through, you will see the link appear below. This means your logbook link is in the system, and you should be done!
Options to disable or delete the link appear after the link has been posted. A team may wish to disable the link after the season is over.
